Absolutely not! We welcome complete beginners with open arms. Our Initial level courses are specifically designed for students with no prior musical experience. We'll start with the basics like posture, hand position, and simple exercises, gradually building your skills and confidence. Every musical journey starts with a single note!

Our online lessons are conducted via high-quality video conferencing platforms with excellent audio clarity. You'll need a device with a camera, microphone, and stable internet connection. We provide detailed setup instructions before your first lesson. The interactive format allows real-time feedback, demonstrations, and personalized instruction just like in-person lessons.

For piano lessons, you'll need access to a piano or keyboard (minimum 61 keys recommended). For guitar lessons, an acoustic or electric guitar is required. Vocal students don't need any instruments! We can provide guidance on purchasing or renting instruments.

The duration varies depending on practice time, natural aptitude, and lesson frequency. Typically, students complete Initial-Grade 2 in 6-12 months, Grades 3-4 in 8-15 months each, and Grades 5-6 in 12-18 months each. However, we focus on thorough understanding rather than speed, ensuring each student is fully prepared before advancing.

ABRSM exams are optional but highly recommended. While we follow the ABRSM curriculum for its excellent structure, taking the official exams provides internationally recognized certification, builds performance confidence, and gives students measurable goals. Many students choose to take exams as a way to celebrate their progress and achievements.

Yes! We offer flexible scheduling with lessons available daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. You can reschedule individual lessons with 24-hour notice, and we can accommodate permanent schedule changes based on availability. We understand that life can be unpredictable, so we strive to work with your schedule whenever possible.

Our instructors are professionally trained musicians with formal music education and extensive teaching experience. Many hold music degrees and ABRSM teacher certifications. All teachers undergo our rigorous selection process and receive ongoing training in our teaching methodology. We pride ourselves on matching students with instructors who best suit their learning style and musical goals.

We recommend 15-30 minutes daily practice for beginners, gradually increasing to 30-60 minutes for intermediate and advanced students. Quality practice is more important than quantity - focused, regular practice yields better results than occasional long sessions. We provide practice schedules and techniques to help you make the most of your practice time.
