About Sabdarupa

Founded in 2003, Sabdarupa School of Music began with a simple yet powerful vision — to make quality music education accessible in Guwahati. What started as a small initiative quickly grew into a trusted institution, setting new standards for structured piano learning in the region.

In 2005, we became the official ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) Examination Center in Guwahati, giving students the opportunity to prepare for and take internationally recognized exams right here in the city. This milestone cemented our role as a pioneer in professional music education in Northeast India.

Over the last two decades, Sabdarupa has proudly trained and mentored 500+ students, many of whom have successfully cleared ABRSM grades, performed at local and international stages, and continued their musical journey with confidence.

In 2021, we expanded our reach globally by launching live online classes, making our world-class piano training available to students across India and beyond. Today, whether in our offline Guwahati classrooms or through virtual lessons, we continue to blend tradition with modern flexibility.
