Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sabdarupa School of Music (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing our website or enrolling in our piano courses, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Enrollment and Classes

• Enrollment is confirmed only after registration and payment of fees.

• New students are entitled to one free trial class before confirming their enrollment.

• Classes are offered both offline (in Guwahati, Assam) and online.

• Class schedules are subject to availability and may be adjusted if required.

2. Fees and Payments

• Beginners (Initial – Grade 2): ₹2200/month

• Intermediate (Grades 3–4): ₹3000/month

• Advanced (Grades 5–6): ₹3800/month

• Payment is accepted through secure online gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Instamojo) or in-person for offline classes.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

• Fees once paid are non-refundable, except in cases of class cancellations initiated by Sabdarupa School of Music.

• In case of missed classes by students, makeup sessions may be arranged at the school’s discretion (subject to teacher availability).

• If a student wishes to discontinue, advance notice of at least 7 days is required.

4. Student Responsibilities

• Students must have access to a piano or keyboard at home (for online classes).

• Regular practice is expected outside class hours.

• Respectful behavior towards instructors and fellow students is mandatory.

5. Examinations (ABRSM)

• We provide full training and preparation for ABRSM examinations.

• Examination registration and fees are the responsibility of the student/parent.

• We will guide students through the process but cannot guarantee ABRSM exam slots.

6. Intellectual Property

• All lesson materials, recordings, and resources provided by Sabdarupa School of Music are for personal use only.

• Students may not share, reproduce, or distribute class content without prior permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

• While we strive to provide the highest quality education, Sabdarupa School of Music is not responsible for:

  • Outcomes of external examinations (ABRSM results).

  • Technical issues during online classes caused by student internet/device problems.

• Our liability is limited to the value of the fees paid for the specific service.

8. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and protect your data.

9. Changes to Terms

Sabdarupa School of Music reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the effective date.
